Why did the Caribou do yoga? Community that's why.

Sep 03, 2009

Yesterday, I went to the free noontime yoga on Parliament Hill put on every Wednesday by lululemon. It’s just one of many community events that they put on for FREE throughout the city.

So why would a Woodland Caribou want to go? Because, it’s all about community and participation. To achieve one’s goals there is nothing better than community and participation. Whether it’s for you’re health, a creative project, or a cause, having a supportive community and participating in it will get you there a lot faster and most likely be much more enjoyable. So I encourage you to write down your goals, find your communities, and get in there and participate.

BTW: If you are looking for a conservation community to participate with, check out the Canadian Parks and Wilderness CPAWS Action Centre.

I am interested in hearing what communities you belong to and how you participate?
